Quadrant News

Dear %PERS_6%

We just wanted to wish you all the best for 2010 and we hope that the coming year will be prosperous for one and all!

THE QUADRANT FULL!

The Quadrant is definitely the “in” place to be in 2010. Despite the economic gloom of last year, businesses have been joining us at a steady rate and we reached 100% occupancy at the end of the year. The last two suites have gone to existing tenants who have expanded their teams to cope with extra work – UK Online Centres have taken on Suite 5 as well as 6, giving them another 1312 sq ft, and the Environment Agency which has taken an additional 1205 sq ft. There are now 39 companies based here. Manager Jim Coleman puts it down partly to the award-winning building which promotes a great image and to a good location. In addition tenants like the ‘extras’ such as the in-house café, the Street and the great service from staff. Part of the Quadrant’s success is always looking to the future says Jim and with that in mind, staff are still keen to show businesses around. In fact they have already started a waiting list. To get in touch ring Jim on 0114 227 0005 or visit the website on www.quadrantsheffield.com

THANKS FOR PUTTING THE 'FUN' INTO FUNDRAISING!

A big thank you to all Quadrant tenants who turned up for the Christmas Market and buffet. It was great to see so many people in the Street enjoying themselves and tucking into the wonderful buffet provided by Lesley and the Magellan’s staff. The stallholders put on a fantastic display of goodies and did a roaring trade providing last minute Christmas presents. Best of all is the news that you raised £600 through the raffle, quiz and buffet sales. The money was been donated to the Sheffield Cathedral Archer Project’s Homeless at Christmas Appeal. Another £100 – 10% of sales - is being donated to the charity by the folk who were selling books on the day.

WHAT'S IN STORE FOR 2010?

We’re working hard to retain pole position as Sheffield’s number one business centre offering serviced offices and we have lots of ideas for 2010. Look out for the Quadrant’s new discount web site where tenants will be able to get special deals from leading High Street brands. Also, Magellan’s are cooking up new buffet menus for meetings and conferences and introducing new speciality coffee and tea offer.  Then there are our plans to make the Quadrant an even greener building plus new events to make it not just a great place to work but also a fun place to be. Kim Stafford from U&I is working alongside the Quadrant team to improve the quality and breadth of services that we offer to our tenants and visitors. So, watch this space.
