Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay could have competition in the future - Jim Coleman is taking up cooking!
Jim, Lesley Olive cafe manager and Tracey Maurice one of the cafe assistants, together with Jim’s 85 year old mother Nance, have signed up for a six week cookery course run by chef Michael Price at Danum School, Doncaster. Michael, whose company The Gourmet Kitchen specialises in catering at the top end of the market, is also using his expertise to help Magellan’s improve its food and service. And how did Jim’s mum get in on the act? “Well, she just loves cooking and loves socialising, so it’s right up her street,” says Jim. “And nobody will dare use the F word when she’s around!”
