Born-again biker rides again
The Quadrant has signed up to the Government's Cycle to Work scheme which means its tenants can, like Jim, buy a new bike and get a 40-50% discount.
“We had a really good response to the BikeBoost event we had here and several of us have decided to cycle into work several days a week,” says Jim. “I'm really enjoying it as a lot of it is off road from Woodhouse.
“We always envisaged the Quadrant as a biker-friendly place which is why we included a shower in the original design and lockers for people to leave clothes. Now we've installed a new cycle rack which is both undercover and secure.
“We're hoping we can tempt more tenants to try cycling into work and if anyone would like to find out how they can get a great discount on a new bike they can give me a call or pop into the office.”
