The last few hundred square feet of office space at the Quadrant have been snapped up by new companies arriving next month. “Passing the 100% occupancy mark is something of a landmark for us,” says Quadrant manager Jim Coleman. “We’re now into opening a waiting list!”

Staff at FTC Kaplan have moved into bigger offices at the Quadrant to keep pace with their expanding business. The move means they now have double the space an allowing them to create an extra training room. FTC Kaplan helps more than 30,000 students a year prepare for professional accountancy exams as well as providing investment, corporate and government training.

Sheffield’s flash floods in June left electrical beauty products company Helen of Troy awash – until the Quadrant came to the rescue by providing a temporary home for their international operation.

Sheffield University’s specialist archaeological research consultancy ARCUS has moved into The Quadrant. ARCUS offers a commercial service providing advice, fieldwork assessment and evaluation and specialist laboratory work for developers, architects, engineers and ecologists throughout Europe, the Middle East and beyond.

Announced this week, One of Sheffield's best known businesswomen - and the 'landlady' of Sheffield's premier business space, The Quadrant - is moving to pastures new. Jenny Pupius, Business Director of Manor & Castle Development Trust (MCDT), is to take up the position of Chief Executive with Action for Business in Bradford from the middle of March.
